Why cleaning your condensers regularly will save you money

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

Portable Appliance Testing is an essential part of your company’s Health & Safety Regime.

If you are new to your responsibilities and obligations to ensure the safety of electrical appliances at your place of work you can find detailed information at Portable Appliance Testing Information.

The code of practice states clearly that all employers have a legal obligation to ensure a safe environment for themselves and all employees and visitors. This includes the safety of all portable appliances and equipment.

Frequency of testing will depend on the environment and the type of equipment found in those areas, that’s where we differ from most companies. We won’t simply test everything every year just because that’s how the testing has always been carried out, we will use the HSE Guidelines and the IET Code of Practice and advise.

We will then carry out a Risk Assessment specific to you site and the guidelines laid down by the HSE and IET Code Of Practice to determine the frequency of testing.
